The Bigg Boss 19 house is seeing a new confrontation. The latest promo released by the makers of the show sees actress Malti Chahar asking singer-composer Amaal Mallik about the nature of their previous acquaintance, and this revelation has gotten the house and people outside of the house talking .
What began as a light-hearted conversation turned into one of the more heated exchanges of the season. In the promo shared by the makers, Amaal claimed to show his annoyance as he asked Malti about having a general conversation regarding him with other contestants, stating “Malti, you once again have a group conversation about me.” This opened up a heated confrontation between the two contestants and also initiated further theories regarding their past relationship that fans had been mulling over for weeks.
Things took an unexpected turn when housemate Shehbaaz asked fellow contestant Tanya Mittal to disclose to the house what Amaal shared as previous acquaintanceship. Tanya stated simply, “He has only met her once for five minutes” which led to immediate outrage and backlash from Malti accusing Amaal and Tanya of lying.
In an attempt to make a strong and emotional statement, Malti replied: “Should I say everything? Even my father knows when we met and when we didn’t. “And how were you able to lie to the camera? I can prove it to you in two minutes.” The audience and contestants of the house were left agape as several of them, looked at the explosion that Malti had just set off with stunned faces.
Malti had even suggested to Amaal that their interactions go beyond just the small interaction that had occurred, and that in fact, Amaal has sung four songs to Malti— still fueling speculation. The audience was quick to take to social media to dissect and scrutinize every part of it.
While they have not clarified or explained their relationship, Malti’s comment has surely shocked viewers and provides chatter for Bigg Boss 19. Following the cliff-hanger promo, Amaal will have to address this betrayal to the house and the alliances next week, leaving many fans of the show eagerly awaiting.
