Mumbai: Following the buzz created by its recently released teaser, the makers of Uttar Da Puttar have now unveiled the official poster of the film, giving audiences a fresh glimpse into its quirky and entertaining world.
The newly released poster places veteran actor Annu Kapoor at the centre of the film’s unique universe. Seated on a toilet atop a giant Vastu-inspired wheel, Kapoor’s character appears caught in a humorous web of destiny, direction and unexpected life twists. The visual captures the film’s light-hearted approach towards faith, fortune and the constant search for the “right direction” in life.
Featuring the tagline “Karam Bade Ya Kismat?”, the poster hints at one of the film’s key themes whether life is shaped by a person’s actions or by fate itself. The ensemble cast, including Rukhsar Rehman, Brijendra Kala, Pavan Malhotra, Ishtiyak Khan, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Rajendra Sethi, Sumit Gulati and Nitin Arora, can also be seen in the poster, teasing their significant roles in the story.
Produced by Sandiip Kapur and Priya Kapur under the banner of Promodome Motion Pictures, Uttar Da Puttar is written and directed by Ravinder Siwach and is based on a story by Sandiip Kapur.
Speaking about the newly launched poster, producer Sandiip Kapur shared that the team wanted the poster to reflect the film’s distinctive personality. He stated that the story carries humour and unpredictability while showcasing how people often look for answers outside themselves, even as life continues to surprise them.
The recently released teaser had introduced audiences to a world where fortunes appear capable of changing simply by finding the right direction. The poster further expands on that idea, offering a glimpse into the film’s mix of comedy, family drama and satire.
Known for backing content-driven projects such as Jugaad, Anaarkali of Aarah and the National Award-winning Bhonsle, Promodome Motion Pictures continues its journey of bringing unconventional stories to the screen.
Uttar Da Puttar is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 24, 2026.
