This week on Bigg Boss, the show deviated and turned the ration task into an intra-house “Bigg Boss Show”, which was conducted by the host, Zeishan Qadri. The living room served as the stage, and the contestants? They were the entertainment on this day.
The night began with an exciting opener by Neelam Giri, as she brought a high-energy Bihari beats opener which was a crowd play and set up the vibe for the night, while instigating mass masti excitement.
Amaal Mallik followed up as he took the mic for a musical act, which was standalone and not connected to Neelam’s act, but was both mood-lifting and performance ready.
Next Pranit More joined the mix, where he made it interesting by performing a stand-up block which involved a roast. The twist was he had to choose five contestants to roast, and he went straight for Farhana, Kunickaa, Nehal, Tanya, and Gaurav Khanna. This roast segment was sharp, cheeky, and made to sting, which is what everybody leaned in for.
Once the roast was done, we shifted focus to a skit by Mridul and Kunickaa. This was a fresh change of pace in our format where we sought to mix banter and performance.
The night ended with a high energy closing performance by AwezDarbar, which completed the most “stage-like” ration task from the house during the season.
As from the Bigg Boss point of view, the fun (twist) was inevitable. After the show, Gaurav Khanna had to go into the confession room to make a decision on the ones who passed, and those who didn’t . The verdict? Mridul and Kunickaa did not make the roast/skit criteria – penalty incurred. Bigg Boss took down the week’s total ration for the entire house by 10%.
