A legal notice has been issued following defamatory and communally charged statements made against actress and national-level Taekwondo athlete Farhana Bhatt, currently a contestant on Bigg Boss Season 19.
According to a statement released by Walwaikar Law Associates, representing Ms. Bhatt, the notice has been sent to Mrs. Roshan Garry Bhinder, Fifafooz YouTube Channel, and YouTube India for allegedly spreading false and hateful content in a recent online interview.

The defamatory video, which went viral on social media, reportedly included a baseless and deeply offensive claim labelling Bhatt a “terrorist.” The family has condemned the remarks as not only false but also dangerous in their communal undertones.
“Such hate-filled narratives can destroy reputations and cause immense emotional distress,” the statement read. “The family has chosen to respond with dignity and legal recourse rather than engage in online mudslinging.”
The legal notice demands immediate removal of the video, a public apology, and ₹1 crore in damages for reputational harm and emotional distress. It has also been shared with the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Commission for Women for appropriate action.
Advocate Abhishek A. Walwaikar of Walwaikar Law Associates confirmed that legal action has begun and stated that the purpose of legal action is to hold people who have defamed the family accountable for the defamatory content online.
The family also requested that the public and media avoid disseminating unverified or sensationalized information while the legal process is still pending.
