The last contestant leaves viewers mesmerized
Early on Sunday, Amma Malik shared an exciting story on his Instagram stating ‘ something big is coming up’. Well to everyone’s surprise, it was his entry into the Bigg Boss season 19.
Amaal Mallik was introduced by Salman Khan as contestant number 16, and upon his entry, in conjunction with a performance of his popular songs, Kaun Tujhe and Sooraj Dooba, Amaal captivated the audience with his calming voice that was filled with great substance. In fact, his performance was beautifully emotional and slightly different from all of the music that had previously been showcased by contestants prior to him.

Once Amaal entered the stage, Salman Khan asked him what his earlier social media post meant when he indicated he had been depressed. Amaal explained he often felt he was misunderstood and his great early success may have partly caused that perception. He also mentioned that he often made mistakes, which he knows he can avoid now, but he didn’t fully understand when he made those mistakes. Salman Khan agreed with his honesty on this matter and noted that it was good to know Amaal felt comfortable sharing these truths.

Things continued to get funnier as Amaal acknowledged he is a bit odd, confirming he is a big snorer, and his housemates would eventually be annoyed with his snoring. He says he also talks in his sleep, and sometimes on some nights, will come out with full-on rave-rants or abuse on the opportunities he thought he missed on his songs. It was a funny admission, and both Salman and the audience laughed but what was evident was that Amaal Mallik was willing to be free and express himself and be open to his imperfections in an honest, sincere, and humorous way.
To Amaal Mallik, the Bigg Boss stage is an area of self-understanding and self-expression, and not only competition. Amaal Mallik is well known for his wonderful melodies, and now he will join a different journey that will allow his individuality, strong will, and authenticity to shine as vivid, if not bright, as his music.
