The reformation of the film partnership between Aamir and Mansoor Khan has been much anticipated. Together, Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan have returned, for the film Ek Din, which will be released in theatres on November 7, 2025 and stars Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. Junaid and Sai Pallavi will be making their screen debuts together for the first time in this film.
Ek Din is directed by Sunil Pandey and is produced by Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan, marking the reunion of the two iconic cousins for the first time after the release of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na 17 years later. Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na was greatly loved by students, fans and the audience in general and was released in 2008, it was also the film that launched Imran Khan.
Well, the reunion is all the way special as the film brings together a fresh on-screen pair—Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
According to sources, following the success of Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir wants to support films that have strong narrative elements and Ek Din adheres to that vision. While it is not being called a festive or holiday release, its early November date suggests a belief in the content and potential word-of-mouth traction.
